Our analysis incorporates factors such as technical capability, quality systems, production capacity, the financial stability of the vendor, adherence to international labor standards and pricing.

Understanding the price target allows us to quickly narrow down the pool of available vendors and quotations and develop a qualified short list.

There are many intangibles in characterizing and describing a product that affect its final appearance and performance. In advance of making samples, we coordinate the generation of production tooling and make recommendations to your company as well as the supplier in order to improve design for manufacturability and ultimately product cost.

Some of our clients prefer to have Buyers Bridge manage the design of new products. We can take your concept and guide the entire development process. We create the CAD/CAM designs and drawings, build the bill-of-materials (BOM), design the testing protocol and fixtures and create the consumer packaging. Our engineers work with your staff to roll out robust designs that transfer well to the factory floor.

We then implement first article production with the vendor you select. Our service includes making process refinements and recommendations to further streamline the sourcing process.

A key element in our support package involves monitoring the production process to provide assurance that the factory is meeting your specifications. Our engineering team performs scheduled and drop-in inspections to see that there have been no changes or substitutions to the bill-of-materials, and that no inferior components or process consumables are used.

Our engineering staff also coordinates the implementation of unique testing protocols. We are equipped to design and build fixtures and tooling that may be necessary to carry out in-process and final test and inspection.

We also arrange for international certifications as necessary.
